Our client is a global leader in shipping. As a result of expansion, they are looking for a Business Analyst in Ocean Consolidation Business to join their hard-working team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze business process, requirement, challenges and opportunities and provide suggestions, alternatives and potential solutions
• Prepare assessment papers, proposals, system specifications and EDI mapping documents
• Coordinate the development of solutions to business process including current state analysis, requirements gathering, business designs and SOP development and documentation
• Represent IT team to attend internal/external meetings, workshops and/or perform IT systems presentations and systems demonstrations
• Liaise with client, business, operation, developers and/or service providers in the development of system/application solutions
• Support development, testing, acceptance, training, implementation and post production of system solutions
• Create and maintain project timelines, status reports, completed project planning documents/forms

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 year experience with solid knowledge and operational understanding of an international supply chain and experience of Logistics business and technology such as barcode scanning and RFID technology
• Solid experience in system support role
• Good organizational skill, logical, analytical as well as service oriented person
• Mature and independent with good communication skills are desired qualities
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is mandatory
